I know it's a stretch, but, Spider must have violated the guidelines. If the suspension was wrong, then Spider will be reinstated after appealing. If Spider doesn't get reinstated after the appeal, then the suspension was legitimate.
Just because someone is perceived as "nice" doesn't mean they are always doing the right thing.
I truly don't buy into the conspiracy theory that Y!A is out to get everyone. Yahoo is a business.
