It's my birthday and I'm goin to the Dane Cook Tour at The TBD Banknorth Garden in Boston.... I was wondering if you had a place I'd could go to grab some food... Like a nice mid-expensive restaurant... I like steak she likes pasta... but i'll do both....

So anyone got a place we can go to eat around 5ish on a Saturday? Do I need Reservations?

Also be nice to tell me where it's located and if I could hop of a train and just walk right there...

Thanks, For Helping!

Maggiano's is EXCELLENT! It's a very nice restaurant, but not too expensive. Food is amazing!!

We usually park at the underground at the commons, but you might be able to find parking around the gardens. Maggiano's is right in the theatre district. Let's say you start at the Wang Center's front doors - take a right. At the first set of lights, take a left and walk down a few blocks. Past Rock Bottom, etc. When you get to Flemings (another GREAT restaurant, but expensive), take a right. It's right next to Flemings. Just as an aside - there's a really great place across the street for dessert called Finale. Yumm! HAPPY B-DAY!!

PS - I LOVE DANE COOK! I'm so jealous.

Faneuil Hall Marketplace is just a hop, skip and a jump away. You can walk, grab a cab or take the T (it's only one stop -- Orange Line Forest Hills to the State Street Stop).

There are many choices from super casual to chic. My all-time favorite? Hands down, Todd English's Kingfish Hall. It's billed as a seafood restaurant, but the menu offers something for everyone from the land or from the sea. (Though the pasta selections are limited.)

The time-honored favorite goes to Durgin Park. Again, no pasta, but there are great selections for beef and seafood. Also, they are very well known for their turkey dinner.

If its a nice evening and you don't mind walking a bit or springing for a cab, my personal favorite is Pomodoro's on 319 Hanover Street in the North End. It's a small casual restaurant where you will see people dressed up and dressed down. There are only 16 seats so you get to soak up the atmosphere from the action out on the street to the chef cooking in the kitchen. There's plenty of very tasty pasta-based dishes, but you'll have to call to see if they offer a big, juicy sirloin -- 617-367-4348. (I once had the most delicious veal dish of my life there. It was served with an out-of-this-world olive risotto!) I went checking and here is an online menu for you to check out. Oh, it's cash only so make sure you stop by an ATM on your way there. Entrees are under $20 and they only serve beer and wine so you won't need a lot of cash unless you plan on drinking. After dinner, go for your birthday cake or Italian delicacy at Mike's Pastry across the street.

Happy Birthday!

nicely, a great place to bypass to could be a outing right down to plymouth MA. there are some museums and there is the plymouth plantation.Or there is the cape, which has remarkable seashores. those places could be super for a outing, yet in boston, there is the museum of technology, and in case you have have been given young babies you ought to take them to the child's museum. there is likewise the museum of high quality paintings, the boston user-friendly is like enormous apple's necessary park, and for eating, you ought to bypass to Newbury street, it quite is the place you will get the final foodstuff. you may take a duck boat holiday around the city and harbor. See the bunker hill monument, or bypass to the remark deck on authentic of the Prudential development, bostons 2d tallest skyscraper. The hancock tower is yet another might desire to work out. yet utilising might nicely be complicated, as in any city, so i want to propose utilising the T, public transit, or get a taxi.
