They need alot of help. I am anticipating the top 5 looking like this after this week

1. LSU
2. Oregon
3. Kansas
4. Oklahoma
5. Ohio State

Ohio State could end up # 4. In order for Ohio State to have a chance though. LSU has to lose to Ole Miss, Arkansas or to who ever they play in the SEC championship. Oregon would need to lose to Arizona, UCLA or Oregon State, which is not likely. Oklahoma would need to lose to Texas Tech or Oklahoma State, which also is not all that likely. Kansas needs to lose to Iowa State or Missouri which they probably will. Ohio State also needs to beat Michigan which is a rival and will definately play them tough especially after losing this week they will be looking to be a spoiler. So if 3 of those four senarios play out they would end up back in it. That is alot to ask for though. Ohio State made the mistake of losing late in the season. You can recover from an early season loss but a late one pretty much kills your season.

So OSU got dropped lower than I anticipated, so even a maricle would probably leave them a little short. Losing so late in the season combined with a weak schedule pretty much has them eliminated. Now the question is can they make sure the season is not a complete loss by losing to Michigan?

Considering Ohio State was projected to finish 3rd in the Big Ten this year, I will gladly settle for a 1 loss regular season and a Rose Bowl bid. The National Championship game would've been merely icing on the cake. Next year is our year!

It all depends where they fall in the polls. If they fall to 4 then the top three teams need to lose. But the way WVU and Oregen is playing I don't think Ohio state will have the chance to play for the title. And I am a big Ohio state fan.

It would seem unlikely at the moment. A lot of crazy things would have to happen but first they need to pound Michigan to impress the BCS computers and then have the teams ahead of them loose which is possible since many will be involved in league championship games. It also depends on how far they fall in the AP and coaches poll.

The way this year has gone, anything is possible. LSU, Oregon and Oklahoma are in the drivers seat. LSU still has to play in the SEC championship to get there and Oklahoma the Big XII championship. Oregon still has 3 more games including Oregon State. So, it could happen.

It all depends on the whole BCS poll ranking after the loss. With Michigan losing too, I say yes they still have a chance to the national championsip game since they are still the toughest team to beat.

How far they fall after this loss will be the deciding factor. The farther they fall, the more help they're gonna need to get back in the top 2. Michigan's loss to Wisconsin won't help OSU's strength of schedule any either. You would need to hope that some of the remaining contenders suffer losses.

Very slim. In reality OSU is not a top 10 team due to their horribly weak schedule. They most likely would finish under .500 in Pac 10 or SEC
