My mother owned a huge Webster dictionary. She would press leaves and flowers in it. Favorite clippings from the paper or a magazine would find their way in between the pages.
When I leaf through it looking up a word, I will come across some little bit of beauty or a thought that she valued. She is gone, but this book is haunted by her lovely spirit.
