Mr. & Mrs.
because the man is like "in charge" of the household
and the wife (normally) takes his last name
So it'd be like Mr. & Mrs. [Man's name here]

It's always been Mr. and Mrs .... I don't even think I can say it the other way around! It's almost like a tongue twister! Not that the woman shouldn't go first (ahem!) but that's just the way it's been since day one and I do believe, too, that although it might not be "grammatically correct or incorrect" either way, far more people are familiar with the Mr. first ....

Hope this helps.
By the way - why do you ask??

In the old days, it was Mr. & Mrs. (insert man's first and last name here). A woman was known as Mrs. (husband's name). Now, either one is correct. Traditionally Mr. & Mrs. is used, but Mrs. & Mr. is fine as well.

Grammatically correct it is Mr and Mrs.

Also for a women when she gets married, say your name is
" Michael Thompson ", then she will become "Mrs" Michael Thompson.

It's all about the man xD.
