Well this is kind of a trick question because he is the first ever Prime Minister from his current political party, the Conservative Party of Canada. This is a relatively new party having just been formed in 2003.

The last PM from any "Conservative" party was in 1993, following twelve years of government by the Liberal Party.

Mulroney is the longest serving Conservative PM. He was in office for 9 years. Trudeau was longest overall.
