Rune Factory Farming for feed?

When i grow my feed i cant pick it up or anything wat do i use to get the feed and where do i get it?

Once grass is fully grown (a deep green color) you cut it down with your scythe. Each square of feed adds one to the food count of EACH hut.

Please note that unlike other Harvest Moons, grass has to be watered every day and can only be cut once. Each hut only stores 99 pieces of feed, so you will need several different plots growing at the same time.
