Frankly, I think the whole thing is unfair to men. Not that I think abortion is ok, but women have the right to get rid of a baby they don't want. It's their "choice" whether they want to be a parent or not. But if they choose to keep the child, they can FORCE the father to be a parent...to me that is a double standard. It is especially unjust that she can FORCE him to be a parent, but he can't FORCE her to be one...so many men have to just sit by while women kill their children, and they have no rights to protect them.

If we are keeping abortion, this is how we level the playing field, legally speaking. Allow men to have a "legal abortion". Before birth, and only before birth (even make it within the time frame that abortion has to happen), a man can file paperwork to relinquish all parental rights and responsibilities. He will NEVER be able to change his mind, NEVER have any rights to the child, and NEVER have any responsibilites there. For him, it will be like the child doesn't exist. I know I'm going to get some thumbs down here, but it just seems unfair that a woman can do this, but a man can't.

The same reason some women feel that popping one out means that the "father" will stay with them and want that child. It sux, my dada didnt pay child support for years, but my mom stood and supported us herself and didnt even bother trying to hunt down my dad. We were all much happier in the end, she wasnt angry, so we didnt see her angry which meant we werent angry children
