I can still see my Grandmother wearing that long flowered apron with the big pockets in front :) What great cook and person she was! :)

My Grandma use to be our caregiver. We could snuggle with her, she would scratch our backs with her long, hard nails. She cooked dinner for us while mom was at work. She made lasagna from scratch 'em 'em 'em and Blanc Mange which is a white pudding. Oh I miss my Grandma! She's been in heaven for about 15 years now. What a great lady!

The first thing I think of when you say Grandma....umm I think of my grandpa...or step-grandpa (but the only one I ever knew)... and how we used to have so much and how he loved us so much and we used to always go to his house when we were little and he would give us Icecream sandwiches yum....anyway and then I think of a few years ago when we went to see him get remarried (on account of my grandma died a couple of years back) he came and was introducing us to the new family and he told my mom "Etta who are these girls again...I forget their names" grrr and then that was it....yeah not your normal answer but thats the first thing that came to mind :D
