Well if womens have more rights, men must have less. That's usually how the argument is presented. Superficially it's an easy sell to a culture used to dealing in winners and losers.
Of course it falls apart at the first hurdle. A womans right to vote does not stop men from voting.
A womans right not to be harassed does not damage a mans right not to be harassed.
A womans right to equal pay in the same job does not stop a man from receiving equal pay (by definition in this case)
and so on down the line.
It isn't a zero sum game.

I believe this is mostly for the advantages of employment and earning an income as good as men. There are so many single mothers that need the income also, why should we make less than a man, if we can do the same work. Most of us still take care of our kids, and house and all the wife duties, too. All this should be done as a team. Or if the men tends to all the outside things and keep the yard and cars ands other things constantly done than it could be the duty of the wife to keep the house, but that should all equal out.
Instead of a women working full time for less money and having to come home and do all the house hold chores that are never ending, while hubby watches ball games.====

It is a sentiment arising as the rights being given to women have not been done in a way to create an equal playing field
such as:
The wage gap reduction has not been women making more money...but men making less.
Women get right to choose to have baby, adopt or abort,raise....men have no legal say in any way concering a baby if the mother is legally sound.
Women statistically obtain more court favor in cases of divorce, child custody and alimony.
Women have right to vote, work, etc but they are not required to register for the draft as men are required to by law when a man turns 18.
Laws have placed more stringent punishments on men convicted of rape in the last 10 years..but there is a common non-enforcement of laws against false claims of rape (which is at least 50% per studies done) meaning women making false rape accusations are not punished in any real way.
Speaking of rape there is no legal protection at all, in any way, for a drunk man as far as sex is concerned.
Inequality in treatment by court system in cases of child sex, women obtain much more lenient sentences.
Authorities are less likely to declare a woman a sex offender for same acions that would have a man declared one.
Female initiated assault+battery against men is almost never pursued by authorities
Now I persoanlly don't think feminism is out to get men....I think that this is stuff that just has not balanced out yet as we readjust our society. But like I tell my sister "You wanted equality...well you got it so be prepared to pay your own way". Women cannot expect equal rights and still expect doors held, dinner+dates payed for, etc
So our society is in flux we are trying to give the have nots there stuff before we take care of those who have always had...it will balance at some point

Read Steve's answer. If you still do not understand, it is because you don't WANT to understand, which is an affliction that affects all feminists. (It is a prerequisite).
My personal favorite, and one which Steve mentioned, is the area of reproduction. Women have at least 4 *legal* choices. Men have zero, none, zilch, Nada. In fact, the father's position in this situation is chosen BY the mother.
Ask:
What options do women (including but not limited to married women) have in regard to a pregnancy in which they are involved?
What options do men (including but not limited to married men) have in regard to a pregnancy in which they are involved?
If the answers to both appear the same, you are a feminist.
Research the history (real history, not revisionist "her-story") and proponents of of abortion, abandonment, "no-fault" divorce, child support, custody, false paternity, false charges of rape (including "marital rape"), false charges of abuse and sexual harassment.
When researching a point, ask which sex benefits most from legislation in these areas? The answer is obvious and it is virtually always the same.

I wouldn't fail to notice that there has never been a female president, that only a fifth of congress is women. I wouldn't fail to notice that my mother meticulously picked my outfits, straightened my hair, and did my nails while never said or did anything to change my brother's appearance. I wouldn't fail to notice that my grandmother only asks me and not my brother, about having children and marriage. I wouldn't fail to notice how women have much higher rape and sexual assault statistics. I wouldn't fail to notice the strict dress code regulations at my school, and especially that these regulations are focused on girls. Sure I can vote but I'm definitely screwed over for being a proud vagina owner.

Here you go, the FACTS-- the same facts that feminists love to deny (as reflected through the 'thumbs down' I will inevitably receive, as has been the case with all the other people who are actually in touch with reality, and haven't been brainwashed and indoctrinated by feminists):
- Affirmative action is in place, favoring women,
- Prison sentences for men being 10x harsher than women for the same crime
- Divorce laws favor women
- Child custody laws favor women
- Child support laws favor women
- Domestic dispute laws favor women
- At least 10x more money is funding into women's health issues as opposed to the one's that affect men
- Women live longer than men
- Women get to retire earlier than men
- Women have the choice between abortion, adoption, dropping an unwanted baby off at a hospital, raising a child with a father, or raising the child without the father, but the only choice he has is to agree
- Having all men's clubs banned, yet raising no protest to all the women-only clubs
- Doing everything they can to help girls in math and science, while having a blatant disregard for boys who are falling behind in everything else
- Fixing the education system when girls are failing, and yet blaming the boys when boys are failing
- Women being able to falsely accuse an innocent man with no consequence - Read Duke Lacross

It works in a sense that those who have been affected by Feminism feel that they are at a disadvantage. The Laws that supports the Rights of Women allows Women to be advantageous in blanketing themselves with it and to utilize it when needed.
Only those who feel that they are affected by a Woman exercising their lawful right will feel disadvantaged and that they have nothing to support them.

There are some aspects where men outnumber women, because of ability or will to work more and get paid more. Feminists would love to be there, but are not happy with "just move your *** for" suggestion, so they preach "equal outcome"
Of course, in the fields where women outnumber men, they dont whine about equal outcome.

Feminism is not about ,,equality,, .Feminism is about Equal opportunity. And in terms of equal opportunity , females have advantage , because females are superior First we got the right to vote, then we became wage earners. Now we are take over in the scholastic world and in the work force.Today women are sexually and financially independent; we outstrip men in higher education and have made rapid headway in higher-paid, influential jobs. But feminists only couldn't cause this even if they wanted to. It is how our society is evolving. All sorts of biological and social factors favor the development of female status.
Feminists couldn't cause this even if they wanted to. It is how our society is evolving.

I don't believe that at all and if in some areas a woman is given an advantage, it is to help them catch up to men who have had that advantage all along. to use one example, if a company has all men executives and wants a woman's point of view, they will give the woman an advantage perhaps to allow her to earn her way up to be with the boys and level the playing field. Once the field is level though then yes, what is good for one sex should be good for the other.
