Guild wars support character?

Question

I want to pick monk as a primary character for full support and i just cant pick a secondary for this character. What should i pick for secondary


note i want to be a FULL sUPPORT character.


do you got any suggestion

Depends on which Guild Wars you are playing.

Prophecies: About the ONLY class that you won't want is elementalist. For a complete support character it's all about picking the abilities you want to use from the secondary class. Mesmer and Ranger have the most buffs after Monk, but Necromancer and Warriors have several too. (I am referring to Ranger's spirit summons.)

Factions: The ritualist takes the ranger's spirit summons and builds a class around them.

Nightfall: Paragon. The paragon class was MADE to be a support character specializing in buffs. (While the dervish has more buffs than any other class I have ever played; all of them are self-targeting, and hence only good for keeping yourself alive.)

I originally tried a monk/mesmer but realised mesmer spells simply take too long to cast without their primary ability.
i liked ritualist from the 2nd expansion. It has a few protection spells and heals to support your team. quite good stuff.

Rit and Paragon work best for having more healing and protecting options. Mesmer works best for making sure you have enough energy to use your Monk spells.

I'd either pick ritualist or paragon if you have factions or nightfall. Ritualists have many healling powers and paragons have chants and echoees that booost morale, raises attacks and defence, and speeds up the team.
If you want to be all healing-be ritualist as your secondary.
If you want to be supportive and heal- be paragon as your secondary.

most monks choose mesmer as a 2nd profession. You can make good use of the mesmer's energy management skills to help heal.
