Any job search (like Monster.com) will be a good start. If you're looking for a job teaching, try this site http://www.higheredjobs.com/ . Colleges and universities, NASA, oil companies, tech companies, they are all hiring physicists.

Universities and government labs use a lot. There are many private businesses that do research work for the government on contract. Big company's sometimes have there own in house efforts to support future product lines, but they tend to be a bit short sighted.

The difference between a physicist and an engineer is that what the physicist is working on won't be built this year :-)
