I live in Israel and I'm an American. My American friends in Israel are begging me to bring them stuff from America (I'm going there to visit my grandparents soon). Alot of the stuff they want me to bring is heavy and it costs alot! :( I don't want to say no to them because they haven't been to the USA in a while. What should I do so that I won't have to bring anything back and that I won't hurt their feelings?

This is simple. Let them know there is wieght and size limits on what you can bring. Small and light is the only things that you can bring. Not to be mean but I am not carring an extra bag in a busy airport for much of anyone.

Just tell them you can't be dragging a lot of heavy stuff around with you. Get them keychains or something -- why would they ask you to bring them expensive items? That's not very nice. I'd never do that.

If you can afford to get the stuff and send it by Fed-Ex so you can pick it up at the airport when you arrive. Or call the Airline your flying and ask how they would handle it. But Fed-Ex will pick up the stuff at your house! If you can't afford it tell them your sorry but your only allowed 50 pounds of baggage.

go to the US, get their stuff and have them pay to mail it to them. If they really want it, they'll pay to have it mailed to them. Tell them you don't want to carry the stuff on the plane, just use security checks as a cover. That way if they want the stuff they'll get it, you're helping them and you don't have to carry it on a plane.
