You should have 512MB min. 1GB+ is much better

If you're using Windows XP with all the latest updates, including Service Pack 2, you need at least 512MB RAM total.

Go to:

http://www.crucial.com/

and use their "Memory Advisor Tool" to identify your PC's RAM by make and model OR by Scanning your PC (Cool!). The new RAM must match the existing RAM's specs, so print out the page, if needed.

Then, buy new RAM from them (or Kensington, Ultra, etc.) online or get it from a local computer store.
