The Ritz Hotel is the best of the three you mentioned. You have a choice of several varieties of Tea to choose from at The Ritz.
Check out http://www.discountcityhotels.net/ritz_tea/ for full details about the Ritz hotel and Tea at the Ritz and enjoy a royal treat.

The Ritz, Savoy and Dorchester all serve up fine a fine afternoon tea, but my personal favorite is the Savoy.
First, its location is superb . . . just blocks from Trafalgar Square and the National Portrait Gallery, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, etc.; equally close to Covent Garden, and just a short jaunt to St. Paul's . . . it's perfect.
What's more, their tea is occasionally patronized by some rather prominent Britons . . . the Queen herself has been known to pop in. And I'm not kidding.
Enjoy!

I was treated to tea at the Savoy. I could have stayed eating forever! Shame I had to go to work. Haven't tried The Ritz or Dorchester.

Well...I think probably the Savoy...the Ritz and afternoon tea is very touristy....you may find that the Savoy is slightly more stylish. Also, because it's so close to Covent Garden and all the good West End Theatre's, you'll be able to have a good shop afterwards...or before and then on to a show. Without worrying about cabs or tubes.
Call first to book.

The Savoy isn't what it was once I rather have been instructed by utilising a woman I worked with who loves those little treats - on the grounds that remodernising the tea room/ or the place they serve tea is asserted to be like a hall attempt the Rubens hotel close to to Victoria Station - all and sundry who is going to get carry of medals and honours etc from the queen supply up there first as nicely as Lizzie having a sip of tea there herself and her carriage is stored around the lower back - so have heard! amazing tea environment!

The ritz hands down- you get like a whole selection of cakes on one of those display things- and its sooooo good! It costs about £30 i think tho- a little pricey for tea and cakes- but its worth it to treat yourself for your birthday and ofcourse to say youve been to the ritz, hehe. They still have a dress code for afternoon tea tho i think- no jeans, trainers etc. Happy birthday & hope you have lovely time x
