Question

i have a bestfriend names katie. i thik shes my bestfriend still.
well, i have more friends then her now, and shes so boring to me now. Like my other friends are always hyper and we actualy go out of the house to do other things.
she dosent smoke or anything, and all my other friends do.

K so, when i dont go to my other friends house, i take her bus home and go to her house. its really boring, its not like i want to tho.
i take her bus cause i dont like my bus, and i dont have anyone to sit with.

so am i useing her?

If you are finding her boring,why are you keeping the pretense of continued friendship. You are playing with her emotions merely for the sake of bus? It is not fair.

How can you say she is your Best friend if in fact you think that she is boring and do not like spending time with her? Not to mention part of the reason you dislike spending time with her is because she is a very intelligent young lady for not falling in to the whole peer pressure everyone is smoking and you are boring because you don't smoke.

Honestly I think Katie should dump you as a so called "friend" cause she obviously has no real friend in you.

You are yes using her plain and simple and You knew that I am sure before you posted. You just was hoping someone would not say it and it would make you feel better in regards to how your are treating her.
Honestly you should wish you had more friends like her REAL friends and less like the others who well let's just say Good Luck with that. They honestly do not sound like a group I would choose to hang with. This though is likely due to my own past choices of choosing the wrong group of friends Lets just say it did not go well in the end.

You are being cruel, if nothing else.

You call her boring when you simply ride her bus because you have 'no one to sit with' on your's? You don't even /try/ to take her places, invite her places, go with her to do things? How can you expect her to be exciting when you have nothing to talk about?

What, and this makes her boring? If anything, that's a good quality in a friend to not be addicted to nicotine!

Get a clue and figure out if she's the friend who needs work, or if you are. The answer is clear to me.

Ok, I don't think you are using her in a bad way, but I think you are actually afraid to tell her that you guys are boring together because you think she'll get upset. So by preventing that, you are sitting with her & stuff so she thinks you are her friend.

Maybe sometimes mention,"Oh we don't do anything fun anymore! We should do something!" & maybe you & her could come up with something fun to do to keep you entertained.

With the smoking situation, I don't think thats something you should get her to do. How does that help boredom? It doesn't & maybe she cares about her health, so don't pressure her on that. Best friends come & go, but maybe you could still keep her as a friend. Also try & get her involved in more activities with you & your other friends.

ur sorta using her, just for her bus.
and i personally think, she is ur best friend bc she doesnt smoke or anything like that. friends dont like u smoke. friends dont like u drink.
so now that said....your other friends are a bad influence.

next time yall go her house, play a board game, or a video game. or sumthing. try to make it fun.

idk i guess for her bus yeah lol but ummmmm whatever you know in your heart whether you like her or not and it seems like you'd like to move on to new people so i wouldnt call her your best friend anymore but good luck. friendships can be hard
