by heavy metal i mean bands like slipknot and bands who are all screamo. i like old school metal though.

It is no coincidence that rap rhymes with crap!
How can you hate heavy metal? Heavy metal was what rock was before morons who need categories had to find a pigeon hole for it. Black Sabbath were rock when they came out. I know, I was there. Now they're furking heavy metal. Pigeon holing is the curse of our society.
You just aint listening to the right stuff.

Rock.
A lot (but not all) seem to sensationalize possessions and glorify superficiality. Not to mention advocate violence.
More than Half those guys never even did any serious time.
the music is as fake as a pair of lee press on nails, extensions and that big gold nuget hanging from the guy/girl in the videos neck.
Thats not my thing man.

I don't dig heavy metal either, but I DO like both rap and rock!
I like a good beat when it comes to rap, something that makes me want to bob my head and rock with it.

i agree, i absolutely hate rap music. It just doesn't sound good, it has no appeal to what so ever. yeah i don't like heavy metal or that scream/ headbanging sh!t. Rock has heart to it and rap just has...i don't know, really nothing.

Who likes heavy metal? It's just in the threshold of pain. Rap? That's for junkies and sex addicts. Rock is fairly acceptable. RnB is best!
