Like Hollister but I never shop there that's pretty weird. Hate Abercrombie. Dumb spoiled brats shop there, no cause they like it but because it's in style I guess. What I hate is that people at A and F give you mean bitchy stares like if they don't want you there. It's just the same as Hollister but pricey I don't really like the clotthes to boring same things those stiped shorts and regular shirts. Hollister has different taste even though I don't shop there I don't mind. So yeah I kinda agree with you on that one.

I am with you!! I dont like either store. I think that they are overpriced and aren't that cute. And would not want to look like a clone. But thats just my opinion and now I am going to get a million thumbs down for my opninon!!Also 3/5 people shop there and if u buy a shirt there you should kow that at least 50 other people have it. I choose to go to a variety of stores and have my own style.

The link doesn't work, but:

I've found that Hollister and Abercrombie (Hollister esp.) has clothes that are more comfortable, fit better, and look cuter than those at most other stores. That's the main reason I shop there. I'm not saying I want to be a "clone" or anything, I just prefer feeling good in what I wear.

There is no such thing as 'prep' per say, but certain people may just happen to like that style of clothing. Labels like goth and prep and emo don't really exist, it's just kind of the categories that people allow themselves to be shoved into. People should be able to dress how they feel, and you shouldn't base your feeling towards a person without knowing them just because they shop at a store that you don't like. Don't try to force your beliefs on someone else.

i don't have anything against abercrombie and hollister though i do think it's stupid that everyone would wear anything they put in there. did u know that if they passed a rule saying that breathing wasn't cool probably 92% of the teen population would be dead? lol
some of their clothes are pretty cool but it's ok to be an individual sometimes people!!!!!!!!!

I agree and disagree. If the kids want to wear the clothes because that is what is comfortable, then fine, but if they are wearing them just to fit in, then that is stupid as all get out. As far as being preppy, who cares? Maybe that is their style. I personally only shop their for my 13 year old step daughter because she likes the clothes, but for myself I will stick with Old Navy....much better clothing in comfort and style as far as I am concerned...plus they do make clothes that can fit the average person.

Lol. all the youngsters have this to say: "I am my own individual, I am different". But what they should be saying is "I am my own individual, I am different...Just like everyone else". It's nothing new, from years ago, everyone wants to be like someone and be accepted. So we become someone we aren't just so we can be someone we want to be. Accepted by who we think matters most. It is a terrible trap. Here is an original idea, Lets all be OURSELVES and if someone can not accept you for who you REALY are, then they don't matter. Ok, I'll get off my soap box now. Thanks for asking. Good luck, Take care today and every day!

I know! Everybody looks the same these days. I absolutely HATE those stores. It's all preppy and unoriginal.Everyone thinks they're sooo cool because they shop there. They don't sell anything dark or black. It's way too over-estimated.

i agree with you. i never go in that store and honestly, it pisses me off when people show off their new clothes they get from there. no it's not JEALOUSY. it's just sickening that people actually think that clothing brand is worth it. honestly, if you look at the prices and compare it to the clothes/fabric...it's GARBAGE. im not going to say im against being 'preppy' because at times i can be but i just dont like how the clothes and the designs and everything in there are garbage and still, they make sales in there and it STILL is a bunch of crap.
