If it works for you, stick with it. But here's the thing.
Some programs use Internet Explorer to run. Older versions of Quickbooks do, and need Internet Explorer 6. If someone with these versions of Quickbooks upgrade to IE7, it BREAKS their Quickbooks.
Lots of people use FireFox.... it is just their preference.
But IE7 does have TABS and an RSS feed section. That is the wave of the future. Windows Vista comes with IE7, so there is no turning back for those folks. Yes, Windows Vista is also the future, along with a 64 bit operating system for newer 64 bit computers. This is all for our future.
So if you like Internet Explorer 7, stick with it.
Good luck and Happy Computing!

I have used IE7 virtually since the the official version came out.
At first there were a few problems but it seems that MS has now sorted most of them out.
IE6 or IE7 is really a question of preferences, like Vista & XP. Everyone I know uses IE7 and there are millions of us who have made the switch.
Likewise a lot of XP users, like myself, have tried Vista and they have returned to using XP as there are still quite a few problems with Vista.
Again though it is simply a matter of individual preference.

They either don't know about it or they just don't bother to install it.
I have it and it is better than the old Internet Explorer.
Alot of people I know still don't have it.
I prefer I.E 7, it's better than Firefox, AOL etc.

It looks awlful, and i use ie6 still i hate the way they did favourites and basically the whole top of the browser stinks.
People using safari are probably on apple macs/laptops ,i tried it earlier this year too american and it looked very old fashioned.

IE7 fixed a number of CSS bugs... however, some sites were using these bugs to make IE-specific CSS rules. So, IE 7 does break a few sites.
Other than that, it's a simple case of people not really knowing to upgrade.

Firefox does everything that IE7 does, but faster and better.
Go here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
It's a smaller download than IE7, too.
