Callum, obviously the question wasn't directed at you, ya wanker.

It may be rude, but it's how I feel. My friends in other countries are amazed at how fat we are as a nation.

I mean we as in the US. The people this question is directed at... Looking at you Callum...

Bye bye, Callum!

Yeah, our crazy, tyrannical leaders embarrass me, too.

Yes, people seem to be obsessed with eating. When news reporters interview people they always seem to be grossly overweight. It is a bad image for America to portray.

It concerns me more than embarrasses me. Not only do they pose health risks to themselves, but we will see higher insurance premiums due to chronic conditions that could have been prevented in the majority of these cases. Very few cases of obesity are actually due to "glandular problems" or genetics, even though they both may play a role. Most are due to poor lifestyle choices, sad to say.

No. For those of us who are morbidly obese (like me at 620) what it means is that we have eaten a lot. Assuming we are not this size due to a particular health reason, then those of us who are this way have obviously chosen to be this way. In my case, I love my size and how happy I am. It makes me happy that others may be this way as wel..

the factor right this is that Christians tend to have a fat venture - Buddhists do no longer. I fairly have in no way had a fat Buddhist shove me out of ways in a mad sprint to the donut stand. that's a Sunday morning fat Christian stunt. i prefer chinese language nutrition too!! i prefer a number of those steamed dumplings with the stuff in them. I had some leek ones that have been out of this international some weeks in the past. ......and a few plum sauce. introduced please thank you.

no, I have the decentcy to let people live and leave them alone. people that are over weight, they are not the problem. the problem is one track minded people that think they have no place here. most not all people over weight. but most are hereditary they are big because of the genes in the family. you can say what ever you want. you can say i am wrong. you can say they are just lazy. you can say they just over eat etc etc. I have learned one thing in life. we all are human. and you opinion is like buttholes and arm pits everyone has one, and they usually stink.

No why should it embarass me? Especially if I know I'm not part of the morbidly obese percent.

I have enough trouble worrying about my waistline without taking on concern for someone else :) I'm not embarrassed by it but I can see why some would be, you did bring up a good point!

Not really, considering the people who have plastic surgery far outweigh obese people in America.

It doesn't embarrass me; it makes me wonder why so many people are unhappy or feel the need to fill their lives with food.
