I have pictures of a stone weopon or tool found deep up a valley in West Maui, need to find out what it is.?

Universty of Hawaii will be able to identify it. I can't even guess without the pictures.

i'll guess it is an adze blade. they are the commonest stone tools in the Hawaiian islands. does it look like it could be an adze for working wood?
