i have a realy old laptop and im gettin a new one but not for a while cuz im out of money so ive got to make do with this old one
so i need internet on it
i have a modem but i dont know how to connect to it
can iconnect to it by a cable or a blutooth usb
i dont wont to bye a card
please help

There is a computer already connected to it? Then your looking to setup ICS (internet connection sharing)?? google it.
Modems can connect via COM port, USB, Bluetooth, or PCIMCIA on laptops - but you say this lappy is old, you may only have a 9pin COM to use.

If it is old then there is no bluetooth on it. If you are going to spend the money for that and get a USB bluetooth, you might as well get a pcmcia modem. The only other way is to hook the modem up to the serial port or USB port and install the software.
