I'm from So Cal. I say dinner. My b-friend is from New Jersey and he says supper. He says no one in Jersey says dinner, they say supper. I suspect that it is amongst the farmers, which is the environment he grew up in. We live in Kentucky and just about everyone here says supper.

I say supper for the evening meal. I have heard dinner said about the noon meal but I don't say that. Sometimes I will refer to the evening meal as dinner but not too often. I also say soda. I am from Wyoming. Good luck! Thanks for asking.

Im from Texas, and here dinner means lunch. well amongst the rednecks it does. I say both, mainly supper.

Australia here,
older Aussies say "tea" ,referring to the evening meal !
younger ones say dinner though.
