The time you spent counting them all was probably time you could have used memorizing.
Just start right now, and don't stop until the show.

I have had to memorize lots of lines too and what I do is just read them over and over and over and over again ALOUD. So just read the lines aloud, concentrate on them while you're reading, listen to yourself saying them, and think about them. Just read them over and over and make sure your concentrating on them while you're reading. Then, when you feel confident, try to look up from your paper and say the lines from memory.
If you have a really long paragraph line that has several sentences, do this with each sentence. Read each sentence aloud, listen and really concentrate, then look up from your paper and say it from memory a few times. Then, do this with the next sentence, say it from memory, and then say both sentences from memory. Keep doing this and adding on a sentence each time. The most important thing is to read the lines aloud and to really concentrate and think about the lines while you're reading them.
Walk around the house saying your lines, say them in your head while you're falling asleep. Any time you get a free minute, review your lines.
Good luck memorizing! I know you will get the lines memorized in time, honey!

Read them everywhere, all the time, for instance while you are eating dinner read your lines aloud and read a few ques ahead of yours, read them in the bathroom, while you are riding a bus ect.
If you do this, then your lines will come naturally and you will become very good.
***If you are not will to dedicate yourself to this then you might as well turn in your script.
Good Luck & Break a Leg!!!!
