A guy trying to relive his 20s, usually dates much younger women and buys a nice sports car and wears flashy clothes

I think during a midlife crisis, they accept their own mortality and want to experience everything before dying. They may not feel young enough, attractive enough or may not have achieved enough. So, they make allowances for those feelings by dating younger women they look ridiculous with, buying sport scars and thrill seeking in various forms of sports.

WOW, I had a great singles life!! I was a single dad w/2 kids, and we had a great time, When they went to college, I had a 2nd run at life, and it to was fun. But short lived, just wasn't that much fun!! I'll not have another one, as I won't live to be 110 years old! Just enjoying the fruits of my labor now!! Married to a grrreeeaat lady andy we just do what we want to!!!

I'm there. I have the sports car. It's basically the realization that one is getting older and that if there are things in life that one has always wanted to do but hasn't- then it is time to crap or get off the pot!

It's where men literally FREAK OUT and realize that they are getting old, bald, and fat. They try to feel manly again and date younger women, ditching the old wife, and acting ridiculous.

most guys figure, is this all there is?, is life passing me by,just lets give it one more fling.the same thing happens to the Lady's, but they handle it better,they just satisfy themselves with a new pair of shoes or some new hair color
