how do i clean an .avi file?

the picture is blocky and I cant read any of the text but this is only when I put it on youtube or something.I need to put it on youtube or google video in order to help a friend learn how to work a program called scar.

When you load a video to Youtube etc it DOWNSIZES the file, and recodes to a MUCH lower resolution and nitrate, hence losing much of the detail . . .

Nothing you can do. If you goth got Skype, use their new tools to do remote connect to each other with that "Unyte" is the new toolname
