What is it doing? What is it Not doing?

Check the battery
Check your cords to rule them out
Open it up and look for disconnected wires
If all else fails , administer a "Technical Tap" , that's where you would smack it on the floor once, everybody's done this - the worst that could happen is the opposite of what you're getting now....nothing.

serious , it would be better if you included info about what is going on , what happens when you step on the switch , any noises , red light on / off, etc.

If it's not the battery, try changing out the switch on top, or at least check all the connections.
