I have a 1999 Ford Windstar LX. I want to change the fuel filters, but I don't know where it is located.
I engine is cutting out a bit especially sitting on a down hill slope, I think hope its the filter(s)

Under the vehicle, on the driver side of the subframe assembly. You would need the spring lock type coupler tools to disconnect the fittings, and 5/16" socket or nut driver to loosen the clamp that fastens the filter to the bracket. Go to your local Ford dealer parts department, and ask for part number FG-986B for the replacement filter. Hope this helps.

Ford Girl is on the money, left side of the frame, mid way back. Requires a special tool to take off the clamps.

Not sure.On this one.On the frame rail under the driver seat is most common on ford.Find the lines exit the tank and follow then to the front.Hope that your filter is your simple fix.Good luck

Underneath, on the right side frame rail. You will need a special tool to take it off. Good luck.

its either next to the fuel rail or on the fuel line under the car
