Every marriage is different but it's hard in different ways for all of them. Every relationship is difficult sometimes. Some are difficult all of the time. The first year is no bed of roses either. You are learning to live with each other and the rose colored glasses come off for the first time. IT's a wake up call for sure. BUT .... it's like a race. You have really good moments too. You just can't give up. The best advice I've ever received was to stop trying to change my husband. When I sat back and started enjoying him for exactly who he was I was happier too. Give him his freedom and expect him to give you yours. Realize that you always have to work on being the best spouse you can and admit it when you're not. (by literally saying I'm sorry, you were right, I was wrong) Marriage can go any way you want it too. It can be what you want it to be or what you let it become.

I watched a documentary on everybody loves Raymond and alot of the storylines are based on true stories of the cast and crew!

Married life is great.You are with the one you love and want to be with for ever.There are two of you to face the world and if necessary you can stand back to back.You can rely on each other and you have a true friend for life.

Not at all. Most of life is going to be just plain getting through it. There are ups that are wonderful, and there are downs that cause pain,but you find ways to get through, and if your smart, you`ll love your partner as much as you can. Thats 54 years of marriage talking.

if u get the rite person then it will be wonderful...relationships r not tailor-made..there will be ups n downs in marriage too.it all depends on how good v r at handling all the problems n still sickin closer 2 the one v LOVE!

Not really. You make your marriage what you want it to be. It takes two to make it work. It is just like being in a serious relationship only you can't walk away from it whenever you want to.
