I have never seemed to have any rythm or natural dance fluidness but I am very musical. I would love to learn how to dance. I am always the guy sitting at the bar and weddings and I know my wife would like to dance but I know I look silly kind of a male Sienfeld Elane if you knnow what I mean. Can anyone help a way to white 44 year old.

If you have any musicality, translating it into physical movement isn't anything more than some training and practice. Head for the nearest ballroom studio. Your wife is likely to spend all your money there (women often seem to tend to go full-out), but the two of you can have lots of fun, and it'll teach you the basics for weddings and such. Partner dancing doesn't translate directly into individual dancing, but once you're used to moving for rumba and foxtrot, you'll find it easier to move for disco-type dancing as well, and you'll dazzle them when you and your wife dance together.

If you are musical than you must have some rhythm, even if you don't think you do. Sign up for some lessons, country western 2 step or ballroom. Just pick one dance to start with, once you learn one, you will be surprised at how the moves translate to other dances and even to freestyle dancing. By the way you will earn major brownie points with your wife if you learn a couples dance that you can do together!

Why don't you buy some fake tanner, maybe you'll dance better if you tan. Just kidding. I find this self-debilitating joke unpleasant.

Head for ballroom dance classes. Not only you will learn couple dancing, you will learn to be more comfortable with moving your body which in turn will make it easier to dance by yourself like they do in clubs. Every ballroom studio has beginner group classes.

well just move to the beat... the guy really doesn't have to do anything just stand there and you move your hips ... that's all the advice I can give you ... as long as it's not ballroom you can do what you want... your wife probably knows how you move by now and seeing as how you're still married I'm gonna say she likes it, so don't worry and just have fun
