Hello Nowak,

This type of scam deriving from Africa has been around for several years and several methods are used to try to get you to part with your pennies, with no hope of a return.

A couple of weeks ago followijg Afro/UK cooperation., a major African ring was uncovered and cheques in excess of £4 million were seized. All these cheques were made out to people who had been taken in by these fraudsters and had sent them considerable amounts of money..

These cheques would presumably have been sent to those who had forwarded money to the scammers.

Unfortunately, once the cheques were paid into a bank account they would have come back quicker than a bouncing rubber ball, as the bank accounts were fraudulent or non-existent.
