Um...Isn't Christmas a time for love and forgiveness? I mean granted there is always someone in the family who is a total pain in the extreem lower neck, but come on, life is short, make the most of everything. You never know, it could all end tomorrow and think of the good times you might miss out on. Merry Christmas to everyone! Happy Holidays too!

The relatives who are dead.

I mean, it's always nice to see them again, but they're just like shrivelled up skeletons with bits and scraps of flesh... and their clothes are all worm-ridden and disintegrating.

I don't even want to kiss them when they show up.

And then they start drinking Christmas punch and egg nog and it's all leaking out as they drank it. And when they eat Christmas turkey, sometimes pieces of them fall off while they're eating. Once grandpa's eye popped out and rolled across the table. Not very appetizing.

And I don't care how much pine smell the Christmas tree gives off, you just can't overwhelm the smell of decay. Even spraying them down with Pine Sol when they aren't looking, it just doesn't help.

And while I always appreciate gifts, after a while you get tired of unwrapping a heavy item only to find out its yet ANOTHER chunk of stone from a cemetary grave. Gee, thanks, I'll add it to my collection. I guess it's the thought that counts, and they get the only thing they can afford and it's easy for them to find, but still... I'd rather they just don't bother with the gifts.

I mean, I loved my granny and grandpa and all, but there has to be a point where they just need to stay away already. I try not to be selfish, but... I mean... it's just that SMELL.

Unfortunately my dad and I have been fighting for a while, so I guess him. But yeah, cousins too :) I have one who wants to read "The Night Before Christmas" every year, and it was cute when she would stumble over words when she was 6 or 7, but her reading hasn't gotten any better in the past 4 years. I should be attentive and enthusiastic but... nah. lol, merry christmas!

A few cousins. They just ruin the holiday because they don't like any gift they recieve and talk about how cheap the gift is, etc. I don't want to see them EVER, much less at Christmas.

One of my aunts! She is super religious which wouldn't be a problem if she wasn't always telling me I'm going hell for the way i live my life. Like i go to party's, dates and she thinks that's bad!

I'd rather just skip the whole thing and stay home with a TV dinner.
