Can anyone recommend a cheap hotel/motel near San Antonio Airport? We are going December 10-11. Thanks

There is a new LaQuinta near 281 and loop 410. It's about 8 or 9 stories high (I may be wrong, it's got some height to it though) My cousin visiting town stayed there and it was very nice. He paid 98.00 per night. You get the typical free breakfast and newspaper. It is very close to the airport. Just recently they opened up a Marriott hotel right in front of it. That one is about 3 stories high and looks like it is very nice. I don't know about you, but when it comes to hotels, I go for the new stuff. And the two suggested are new and affordable.

There is a new La Quinta across 410 from the airport. A Homegate Studios, a Red Roof Inn and a Pear Tree Inn about a mile and a half way.
