Every where businessmen try to influence politics with money.
USA-Business man engaged in manufacture of Guns,War ammunition influence the Govt and retain tension somewhere in the world.US Arms manufacturers are behind Iraq intervention also,to keep their business boom.
UK-Business man fund politicians to keeep their competitors at bay.
INDIA -Politicians are corrupt.Policy decisions are made on the basis businessman's bribe to politicians/parties.

if you have money and power you can buy as many labour party politicians as you want, as has been proved. and so the legislation you require to drive your business forward will happen. same in local government. they are only there for the money they can make through the corruption they are involved in. my dad always said that you wont find the real!! crooks in prison. they are far too clever for that. they run for government..

By endorsing these politicians, they expect some policies to be implemented and or repealed as to benefit the businessman and turn him/her a profit.
