Or is it okay for one politician to do it but not okay for the others. Would you respect someone who incorporates this into their campaigns or would you think that they are having a hard time coming up with answers to regular peoples concerns so they have to have questions that they have practiced the answers to???? Your thoughts???

Politicians always do this. They don't want to have to answer questions that would make them look like idiots. All higher up brass type people do this when talking to the peasant folk. There is a reason only certain people were allowed anywhere near Rumsfeld's speeches when I was in the miltary.

Since the Clinton's have no ethics or morality it is easy for them to insult the public by planting questions and what is even more sad is that the Media will support them. Hillary has the support of the big money people and the Chinese with her so it will be hard to knock her down to size. The bad thing is she is not qualified for the office. How can anyone expect her to lead a country when she could not control her own family. She supported Bill while he defiled woman after woman and never pushed him to tell the truth when the facts were out. Is this the type of person that should be president?

George Bush does this with great regularity, so the precedent comes from the top. You cannot ask Bush an embarrassing question. If you do, you are barred from further press conferences.

No, it isn't unethical. It is just politics as usual. Everyone does it if they can. Mostly they have their friends or friends of friends ask the type of question that the politician can easily answer. It isn't necessarily written out for the questioner.

I strongly suspect that candidates have been planting questions in their audiences for as long as their have been campaigns. In fact, I'd be surprised to find out otherwise.

They all plant, just be aware of fictional answers. They just want a 'certain' question asked.
