The chance to practice my writing skills and gain some applause in the comfort of my own home, while holding forth on dozens of subjects. Not to mention honing my wit.
I would say habituated, rather than addicted. I can leave it alone if I want to, and would go days at a time without it if people didn't keep writing to ask if I'm ok.

I like to learn. Oftentimes a question leads me on a surfing expidition which could go anywhere. I've learned countless bits of information on the journey.
I also like to share what knowledge I have, when it can help others. Additionally, I like to think that I've influenced at least a few people, and perhaps changed the way they think about certain issues. Best compliment someone can give me is, "I hadn't ever thought of that" or "you've changed my mind."
And sometimes....just for silly, immature fun and laughs.

Boredom and a chance to make a jerk of myself to complete strangers. Not addicted - I have not gone to a YA! support group meeting yet.

I'm addicted. Plus curiosity, just want to know what people are asking.
