No, it's not particularly suited to gaming. 512mb of RAM is not enough, especially if it's shared video. And for gaming you really should have a separate video card with dedicated memory. Laptops that have that are quite expensive.

Laptops are not generally built for playing games. If you play a lot of games you should get a desktop.
