I have the same problem, and I also get very disappointed and depressed when somebody leaves and doesn't want to stay in touch.

Somebody told me that I should not get so attached at the outset...(keep my mouth shut and don't make friends)....
this is a very hard thing for me to do, because I'm such an open person....but I found out that it works, because.... when I listen to this advice, people come to me, and they want an attachment with me and not vice versa....so they tend to stay attached, because they want to be with me.

A little is ok, but somewhere you didn't see an independence in your family or life. I am the opposite, and quite content alone.

You need to be happy with yourself, so that no matter who comes or goes, you don't have that codependency pull. So many ppl get into trouble in life, because they cannot be alone. I sure hope you do not tolerate wrong behavior just to be attached. Just learn to fulfill yourself, when 20 other ppl aren't around. Also find an interest that you can start to do some things by yourself....just to balance it out.

Sorry for responding to a question with a question, but is it just with fellow actors that this happens? If not, then your question is in the wrong category.
