I did this play for o-level and from the distant past I can remember a little. His play was about the class sytem and social responsibility. The inspector conveyed the message of equality by getting those present to think about how they contributed to the girl's death, ie pregnancy the wealthy mans son, losing her job, wife. Her suicide by drinking bleach the shame of it all, it was more than just a play it was a critique on the morality of the day in Edwardian England.

Well, i thought the message was about social conscience and caring for each other. Each one of the characters actions impacted and contributed to the death of the girl, but individually they were not to blame.

It is a morality play about social responsibility.

If you have read the play then the answer will be obvious. I strongly suggest you start reading it. Now. And think long and hard about each word before you write it down - your spelling is shocking. You can't even get the author's name right.
