Sand dirt around the threads causes seats to rip out seams. Your on your own here many auto trim shops charges vary. From Repair to rebuild of the entire seat. You will just have to trust the shop and ask around. Another alternative is purchase a seat out of a wrecked car (not to much blood please) and have it rebuilt so your down time can be eliminated or lessened.

I actually have a vehicle with leather-based and lightweight suede seats--as quickly as I have been given blue ink on them, I sprayed with hairspray (which dissolved/ re-moist the ink) and blotted with a textile. I stored repeating this till the ink replaced into long gone--won't be in a position to even see it now. sturdy success!

once the leather starts going you can slow it down but it will continue to degrade.

the best thing is if you have the money to have the whole seat refinished. Its cheaper then most would think and it cures your prob.

IT DEPENDS ON THE SHOP BECAUSE MOST OF THEM DO NOT WANT TO REPAIR A FEW STITCHES BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU A WARRANTY.

I WOULD SAY THAT TO DO IT CORRECTLY YOU WOULD BE LOOKING AT AROUND $200.00 TO $300.00.

GOOD LUCK
