I reside in a dusty area so having major problem with dust all the time. My car attracts dust within 10mins of washing. Its so irritating that I've stopped cleaning/washing it. Every time I wash it, in a few minutes, there is a layer of dust on it. Waxing only worsens the situation.
Is there any coating/wax/polish/chemical which I can use to make the car anti static / dust.

The best product out there without question is the Wax Shop's Slick Stuff.

Simply spray it on, wipe it off, then buff it dry to a shine with a clean soft terry cloth towel. It lifts off dirt, crud, and grime without scratching.

Plus it supposedly puts a positive charge on the surface to repel dust (which also has a positive charge).

This is excellent for those minute buffing or some minor blemishes like bird droppings, tar, etc. which would otherwise require a wash to clean.

I've heard of people spraying or wiping fabric softener on their cars or parts like taillights and windows to repel dust. A good wax job will help minimize it too. And maybe installing a ground strap... like an old belt around the axle hanging on the ground (old trick)... may help eliminate static buildup.

easier yet, purchase some liquid Downy (fabric softener). placed 50% water to 50% softener right into a twig bottle. Use it to mist your carpets/fabric once or twice each week at abode, place of work, vehicle and so on... It not in basic terms works yet additionally leaves each little thing smelling sparkling too!
