Now it works but sticky...help! Should I spray it with WD-40 or something else?

Upnlug the keyboard, remove the keys (you can pry them off with a little force) and wash the keyboard it won't hurt it.

If you have a laptop keyboard then i wouldn't be able to help you , but if that sticky keyboard is really annoying you, then you could just purchase a new one.

If it's a regular keyboard (I mean NOT a laptop) that you can unplug, I have read you can put it in the dishwasher, then let it dry completely before you plug it back in.
If it's a laptop, I don't know. Maybe let some ants lick it clean.

I would pry the keys off and clean it with a q-tip and some alcohol or something similar.
