lol it's funny, but not true. However, you can't help what your family believes. Just have to go along with it. Otherwise, you'll always be the odd one out. I'm the black sheep of the family as well for not going along with the family beliefs. lol

i've got heard of that previous different halves' tale, yet permit's look at this sensibly. How the HELL might a sparkling mom carry HER infant if that have been the case?? Do women human beings not have a era collectively as their toddlers are little?? i think of not. Hell, women human beings bleed non-supply up for type of three weeks as quickly as they supply delivery. Does THAT count quantity? tell your chum to get a grip on actuality.

My goodness what a crazy superstition! Good thing we don't have that superstition here in the states...other wise those thousands of women in the medical field who work closely with babies would be out of work for several days a month.

it's a superstition. Having your period doesn't make any body else sick, except maybe you yourself. It won't harm the baby. But, if you've got pms, and can save yourself from the responsibility, go ahead and let somebody else carry baby.. :) hehe

I have never heard this...I think as long as you have washed your hands well (so should anyone handling a baby, especially a newborn), you should be fine...
I think it may just be a custom, but never heard of it here in the States. Not even from my "crazy" grandma who had lots of weird superstitions!!

no... that's not true .... your period is not something contagious that can make your baby sick... if that was the case my daughter would of be sick a lot..... but if your really concern about it you can ask your baby's pediatrician...

NO that not true. It never happens. I had a period and hold my neice and nothing had happened. ANd she is healthy. No that not true.
