rough idle like it is missing . Yet when I accelerate it is OK .
Put new Bosch Platinum plugs less then one year ago , changed air filter at same time . All so changed PCV valve , and the vacum hose under manifold ( elbow formed hose ) had a hole in it , checked it again just to be sure it is OK . Put new idle regulator on at about same time . Did not change fuel filter . If that was it , wouldnt it act up on acceleration as well as idle ?

Sounds like it's the plugs man.

Almost a year ago - you swapped them - but
how many miles have you put on in that time?

Were they hard miles - eg:
towing - hauling - 4x4 -

I would start with the plugs (even new ones fail from time to time) and wires, it sounds like one of them is failing or one of the plugs is slightly fouled.

Doesn't sound like a fuel problem as it would not improve with acceleration.

Check all plug wiring making sure there are no wires with a bad spot, crack or deposits at the ends then make sure they are not crossed and touching each other and check coil pack for cracks.

Check the complete exhaust system or maybe some foundation bolts might have went loose....

FUEL FILTER WOULD AFFECT IDLE MORE THAN ACCELERATION , PULL THE LUGS AND CHECK THEM , THAT'S EASY ENUF , MAYBE CHANGE YOUR WIRES OUT TOO
