It can be distressing when we realize how long it takes for the body to heal after major surgery. We forget that surgery, although life-saving, is also violent. In the process, your body has been damaged in many ways, and that takes lots of time to heal. But by this time next year, it will all be a distant memory. Just hang in there! Good luck!

You don't say what it is so it is hard to say for sure, if it is something like gastric bypass then yes it will get better. You must do what the surgeon says!
If not you will be sick from here on out.
Keep the positive attitude and count each minute that is better than the last. Celebrate each moment.
Take care, Hope you soon feel much better.

If you have had positive thoughts then stick with them! Take each day at a time. You probably will go through bad patches, but that is all they are bad patches. Eventually the good will outweigh the bad. Good luck and take care :-)
