Sew, read, ride a bike, build models, play computer games, learn to write computer games, write stories, document your family tree and history, study a subject related to whatever you might want to major in in college, learn to cook, train a pet to do tricks, volunteer at a local hospital, retirement home, church, or vet clinic, paint your room, paint your little sister's room, plant a garden, learn a musical instrument, take up bonsai, study karate or another martial art, study origami, help an older neighbor rake leaves, take up cross-country skiing, study and document the history of your town.

Well, I wouldn't suggest doing arts & crafts because you are much too young to find a hobby that requires you staying home indoors. You really need to get out, but since you are not sports minded and have 2 left feet (I don't know if you would consider this to be a hobby, but) you could be a Big Sister to a younger child who doesn't have any siblings and is in an orphanage with no parents. She really would appreciate sharing some thoughts and experiences with you and anyone that is an only child would love to have a big sister. You could walk to the park and feed the ducks or skid some rocks in the water or play jump rope, tag, anything that would give your little sister some undevided attention. Maybe she can introduce you to a hobby, you won't know unless you try it and I think you would love to do a good deed and will also enjoy her company. Google it to Big Sisters and you'll see that there are many choices. The only downfall is that I think you would have to have an adult supervise you since you are under 18. It doesn't hurt to look into it though!

Try coin collecting. It doesn't have to cost you a lot. You can go to the bank and pick of a box of coin (whichever denomination you like) for exactly face value. A box of pennies is $25, a box of nickels is $100, a box of dimes is $250 and boxes of quarters or half dollars are $500. You don't have to buy the whole box. The bank can pull out whatever amount you like.

Once you get a box, you can go through and pull out the better coins (there are books to help with this or websites). You can pick up a coin album and try to fill all the holes (get one for each year) or just search for interesting ones.

The coins that you don't want can be returned to the bank and put straight back into your account (though it's often better to return the coins to a different bank (not just a different branch but a different bank) so that you don't search the same coins over and over). Everything you find will have been obtained at face value. You'd be surprised what people have found. Check out these links to see:

Also check your change for interesting finds.

Some things to search for: wheat pennies, silver dimes, silver quarters, old coins, error coins, coins with the "S" mintmark - it could be a proof coin etc. There's always the chance that you could find a real treasure!

It's also helpful to buy a red book. It can help you price your coins and will answer many of the questions you may have.

OR IF THAT'S NOT FOR YOU...

Another hobby to consider is leather craft. It is the art of decortating leather by either carving, stamping, pyromancy (burning the design in with a wood burning tool), or coloring it with various different kinds of paints or dyes. The projects can vary from making wallets and purses to art pieces that can be sculptural or framed. You have been given alot of ideas, I would pick a couple at a time and do some research on them. Have a lot of fun discovering a new hobby!

At your age, paper modeling can be affordable.

This site has some interesting models. Animals and lots of motor cycles, since it's done by yamaha motors it makes sense. But a simple search on paper models will give you a lot of options. Pretty much it's printing off the images and cutting them out and gluing them together to make a 3-d object. I still do this at times. My husband does it more for his gaming sessions. He prints off villages to use for his dungeon campaigns.

A positive is that you can always give the finished product so someone you know. Sometimes a paper model of a bird can brighten someones day.

I have a 13 and 15 year olds and they enjoys doing crafts crochet and knitting at night while we watch TV, it is the rule at our house no TV unless you are knitting or crochet, helps to make sure you don't become that couch potato.

Also they both enjoy reading, walking with their I-pods this way they are getting exercise, trying gymnastics, and the one is a cheerleader.
