Hands down - The Exorcist. Couldn't wait for it to come out in a movie after I read the book when that came out so many years ago. Then, when I did see it, it scared me to no end. To this day, if it comes up on TV and I happen upon it, I still cannot watch it again. I tried once or twice but couldn't do it. I don't know what scares me more, the scenes in it, or the thought of what it would be like to be possesed. I think the combination of the 2 just makes it unbearable for me to watch.

The Shining....with the twins and the blood getting out of the elevator, wow...chills. Also Shelly Duvall is just plain spooky.

An Inconvenient Truth is also scary, but in an eye-opening way.

The movie that scared me the most was Candyman, but that's because it was the first horror movie I watched, and I was just a kid still. It kept me up many nights.

I watched it later, and it wasn't even really scary. No movie actually scares me anymore. :(

Actually Fahrenheit 9/11 had me so terrified and enraged I couldn't sleep. But horror-wise, I'd have to say The Exorcist or The Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

Wel, there are a lot to name when i was young such as "Exorcist", "Chucky" and many more but now i look back at them, i feel funny about myself being scared over these movies. I used to cry every nite and sleep with my parents till the scenes actually fade away from my memories.

The Prince of Darkness...about 1984 or so? My friends and I got in (R rated) when we were younger and it's one of those almost believable religious "the devil's gonna take over the world" movies). When we walked home (a few miles from the theater) it was cold outside...and we had to use the bathroom.
The steam from our urine scared the snot out of us so badly we ran most of the way home. We thought it was the devil coming out of the ground.
