I'm still waiting, but I think my bf of a year and a half may be the one. We just get along. We laugh all the time and don't need to talk to enjoy each others company. He likes video games and I like reading, I sit next to him and read while he plays video games. We are more friends who happen to be in love then anything else. If it's 1am and I'm crying and I need him, he'll drive to come see me. He isn't afraid to cry in front of me either, we watch Meerkat Manor together and it's such a sob fest. I knew he was the one when I realized he was my best friend.

I am old and am still looking. I sure have a lot of fun looking as well.
I never think of wanting to spend the rest of my life with another person. After a while it gets boring and it is time to change for a different model.
I got rid of two very good ladies because they just plain got too fat to tolerate. I don't dislike them or any of the others. I am old but not dead.

Well, it is a great story! I met my husband of 16 yrs. now, on New year's eve of 1989. The weird part of it is that i was in college and had 3 different parties i could have went to that night, i chose the one where i met him because i just felt that one worked out the best for that night. So, another funny thing is that he showed up there with his cousin, who he didnt see too much, but who called him out of the blue and asked him to go that party with him because he had gone to high school(the cousin) with my girlfriend who was having the party and hadnt seen her in awhile! So, we were all sitting around playing drinking games and having fun and he and i kept looking at each other and finally i just decided to approach him. so, i went over to him and just started playing drinking games and he got pretty buzzed cause of me and we sat up and talked all night and ran out in the snow and made snow angels together, and i never felt so close to anybody so soon in my life and just knew we were supposed to be together, and 2 weeks later he proposed and a year and a half later we got married(and still are!), with 3 beautiful children and a cute dog! This is what happened to me!

I never ...i got her pregnant...Lucky for me she decided to leave me after 8 years together
Now i make sure the person i intend to spend the rest of my life with is smarter than a 10 year old

I saw her in the college cantina one day and just knew she was the one! I told my best friend that day. I didn't even know her name at the time. He just laughed at me! He was amazed when I asked him to be my best man!

Actually I had stopped looking all together. But it was love, faith, whatever you want to call it, that brought me to him.
