Some idiot hit thier brakes to turn into one of those turn-arounds on the highway, well I hit my brakes and when I realized I couldn't avoid hitting the car in front of me, I decided to ease into the median, well the impact of the turn and the brakes caused me to roll over 3 times into the other side of the Hwy. All the glass in the SUV was gone. I was only 3 days away from my 17th b-day. I guess it true what they say about getting in an accident before your 17. I luckily only had a concussion and a real bad headache!

Drove off of a 15 mile an hour turn at 45 miles an hour off of a 15 foot tall bridge, landed the car upside down, crushing the roof too the doors, we couldn't get out ( I was unconscious, passenger was trying to open a door) and a passerby stopped and let us out. I walked up the hill by myself saying "my head my head" and holding my head, what I saw was the earth where the sky should be, and they laid me down in the street and I lost consciousness again. I woke up in the ambulance and sat up and said "Bob, why is the car on the grass?" He said "you did that Angie" and just then the Texas State Trooper climbs back in the ambulance, he heard what Bob had said and he said "If you weren't hurt I would take you straight to jail", while I was out Bob had told the trooper that HE was driving, not me, because he didn't know I had a permit, he had been teaching me how to drive. We were both transported to the hospital where they discovered a hairline fracture in my T5 vertebrae. My head was killing me but they wouldn't give me any pain meds so they wouldn't mask a head injury (duh, I had a head injury, that's why the hell it hurt so bad). My head has never hurt worse in my life. They released me after 5 days. I was 19, I didn't actually learn how to drive until I was 25 the experience scared me so bad. Watch those hairpin turns.

Hit another car. I was 21 at the time, had my sister and my baby in the car. It was a 1968 Mercury Montego, my very first car! No one was hurt in either car, but it completely totaled my car.

A woman and her child and a tree trunk. I also hit my forehead in the windshield. I was a passenger.

I still have a scar of 11 stitches on my forehead and smaller scars here and there. The worst one is in my heart where I still grieve for the deceased mother and her son.
