Some people just bull their way in and others look at you first and wait for your response, how do you feel about it?

The ones that push their way in with no signal then turn right
really annoy me. Especially if they have been in back of us. However, there are a lot of decent drivers out there that acknowledge letting them in.

When someone shows me any driving courtesy anymore I am so overwhelmed it takes everything I have not to jump out of my car and invite them over for dinner. Jaded, yep-- I am a casualty of the California freeway system. Now I live in a smaller town and this is a new phenomenon for me. There are so many rude drivers nowadays that I try not to let them in to my consciousness and focus on the kind drivers who seem to also appreciate even the slightest courtesy.

It doesn't bother me if I DON'T get a "thank you wave" but it DOES bother me, if I can't let them into traffic and they go out of their way to catch up with me and give me the old ONE FINGER wave, they do that around here.!!

i hear ya!! this is one of my pet peeves! i hate a lack of manners! i also hate it when you hold the door for someone and he or she doesn't say thank you. have we all become so self centered and self absorbed that we can not manage a simple thank you? i am really disillusioned with people in general. for those people who can not manage to give a simple nod or wave when i let him or her into traffic...i have a courtesy finger for you!

I hear ya! But you have those who look at you like your god because you let them out and everyone in the car waves because they are all so thankful. Almost like they all had to pee or something;)

It annoys me to no end. I am usually driving a company car, so if they don't wave, I'll ram the inconsiderate bastard. I'm silly like that.

it's sort of rude to not give a little thank you gesture. i hate it when people are on their cell phones and act like they are the be all and end all. cut you off, crowd in don't signal etc. yes, i guess it bothers me!

I appreciate it when someone says "thanks!", don't think much about it if they don't and find the ones who weasle their way in and are very pushy just plain rude; therefore, I expect no polite behavior from them.
